We had a really fun start to our summer term with gigs in gardens over two weekends! Thanks to everyone who took part – the weather was toasty at both events and our audiences loved us!
After a break for half term – we’ll be looking forward to a gig at Ruskin Park Bandstand!
We had such a fun end to our summer this year! Our silent film night, featuring ‘Blackmail’ from 1929 went down so well and this year, we had a fabulous 1920’s-style dance band to accompany us. A Hitchcock film never sounded so good!
Choir, band and suitably blood-red lighting! Thanks to Tom Leighton for all the photographs.
After the murders and treachery in Blackmail, our next gig was a little bit more family friendly. We were delighted to take part in the second week of the Camberwell Feel Good Festival in Ruskin Park. Singing in a bandstand is always fun!
Thank you to everyone who has come along and joined in at some point this term. That’s it now for the summer – but we’ll be back in September for more singing!
Rehearsals have started again and our diary is already starting to fill up with a silent film to accompany, a gig on a bandstand and a summer picnic sing. Keep checking our calendar page for the latest updates!
