We Rehearse every Tuesday evening in term time from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. 

There are usually around 10 rehearsals per term and rehearsals cost £5 (or £3 concessions). If you’re joining us for the first time, it’s free.

Typically, a rehearsal starts with a warm-up before we start practising songs. Depending on the choir leader, the warm-up time varies! After that, we rehearse songs that we will be performing at an event. We usually use sheet music with words – but you don’t have to be able to read music. It’s not all hard work though; we stop for a hot drink, a biscuit or three and a catch up halfway through. We usually have a rota for making drinks and bringing in the biscuits!

Rehearsals usually take place at the St Giles’ Centre, directly opposite St Giles’ Church in Camberwell Church Street. Rehearsals are currently subject to change / alteration due to covid restrictions – please check the calendar page for details.

The Centre is about 5-10 minutes’ walk from Camberwell Green (bus interchange) and 10 minutes’ walk from Denmark Hill Station (national rail and London overground).
