A busy end to the year

After a great start to December, singing for the Camberwell Advent Calendar project, we hit a storm! Alas – what was going to be an awesome outside Christmassy event on Camberwell Green ended up being an inside Christmassy event in St Giles’ due to Strom Darragh. Still – we had a great time combining choirs with the children of Lyndhurst Primary School – and everyone enjoyed it. Mr and Mrs Claus seemed suitably impressed!

Next up was Carol’s ’round Camberwell which boosted our charity coffers. In total, we raised £544 which will be split between Ella’s (a charity which works with women that have been exploited / trafficked) and Make it possible Ukraine (an organisation which provides amazing opportunities to displaced children in Ukraine).

Here’s our traditional singing around the gnarled tree – and somehow, 40 of us or so fitting into the Hermit’s Cave Pub!

Finally, many of us sang at Carols by Candlelight in St Giles’ Church. Many have said this was the best carol service yet – you can even have a watch on YouTube:

Thank you so much for your support this December and see you in 2025!
