great Victorian cemeteries of London and we’ll be performing in the chapel at the annual open day at 12.20pm.
Away Rehearsal
Tuesday 1st April, 7pm
For our last rehearsal of term, we’re going to try an experiment! Join us at the Asylum Chapel in Caroline Gardens for an ‘Away Rehearsal’ in a beautiful, atmospheric building. Built in 1826, the chapel was bombed in WW2 and is now part-restored as a popular wedding venue – it’s an amazing space to perform in.
The Nunhead Gardener
Wednesday 4th December, 7pm
As part of the Camberwell Advent Calendar Project, we’ll be singing trad carols outside The Nunhead Gardener, Camberwell (23b Denmark Hill, SE5 8RP) for around half an hour. Meet at 7pm on location and wrap up warm!
Camberwell Community Christmas
Saturday 7th December, 12 noon
Mr and Mrs Santa Claus will be arriving in Camberwell very soon! We’re going to support a kids choir (trad carol harmonies) on Camberwell Green and then sing some of our own Christmas classics. We’ll then pop over to St Giles’ and sing in the relative warmth where an Arts Market will be going on. Meet at 11.50pm on Camberwell Green.
Carols ’round Camberwell
Tuesday 17th December, 7pm
After our successful Dec ’23 tube station and pub performances, we’ll start closer to home turf this year and meet in St Giles’ for mulled wine before singing to the gnarled tree in the churchyard. We’ll then head off into the bright lights of Camberwell! And of course, wrap up warm!
